ill peach have shared their take on the classic TV On The Radio track “Wolf Like Me.” The track Follows the release of the Los Angeles duo’s vastly overlooked album This Is Not An Exit, now available via Hardly Art. The band is confirmed to perform at this year’s Underground Music Showcase on July 26th in Denver, CO.

ill peach says of this new song: “Last year, we got asked to do a cover for the “Meet Me in The Bathroom” documentary soundtrack. The doc is about the music scene in New York during the early 2000s. Quite possibly, all of our favorite bands are all in this one doc; Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LCD Soundsystem, TV On The Radio, The Strokes, etc. The soundtrack fell through, and it felt weird to let this one sit on a hard drive. We used to see Tunde Adebimpe all the time outside of our studio space in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Felt like the right band to honor.”

The genesis of ill peach was first planted in the recording studios of New York City, where Pat Morrissey and Jess Corazza were working together as professional songwriters. Since then, they’ve collaborated with artists like SZA, Weezer, Pharrell, Saint JHn, Icona Pop, aespa, and Genesis Owusu. The duo needed an outlet for their more left-of-center, personal compositions, and ill peach was born.
