Whitney return with new single “Darling”

Whitney have returned with new single, “Darling.” “There’s something to be said for a 2 minute-or-less gem that aims for the heart,” said the band. “Songs like ‘Gonna Hurry’ by Dolly Parton and ‘Take Care’ by Big Star come to mind—poignantly written goodbyes emphasized by the fact that both songs are over as quick as they started. The Chicago band have also announced a Summer 25’ North American headlining tour that will kick off on July 20th in Lake Tahoe, other dates include Montreal, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington, DC and more.

Whitney was formed in Chicago in 2015 by former Smith Westerns guitarist Max Kakacek and Unknown Mortal Orchestra drummer Julien Ehrlich.
