New York City-based trio Wet shares a new Andrew Theodore Balasia-directed video for “Only One.” The track is off their current release Letter Blue, now available via AWAL (Jungle, girl in red, dayglow). The video, featuring Rain Spencer, Grant Gutierrez, Chris G, and shot by Roman Koval depicts Kelly as she performs a magic ritual while flashback memories are shown through camcorder footage. The new visual closely follows those of “Larabar (by Gia Coppola),” styled by Turner and directed by Gia Coppola, and “Bound” with Blood Orange.
The album marks the third full-length installment from the group and the rejoining of founding guitarist Marty Sulkow. Letter Blue continues Wet’s sophisti-pop sound across 10 tracks written by vocalist Kelly Zutrau, produced by member Joe Valle with co-writing and co-production credits from Toro y Moi, Buddy Ross, Frank Ocean’s go-to keyboardist, and Dev Hynes (Blood Orange) on “Bound”
Additionally, Wet is currently out for a run of fall tour dates in select markets to coincide with Letter Blue’s release. The band will perform two upcoming shows in Brooklyn and a stop in London this month. Tickets are on sale now. Wet has also recently partnered with staple menswear brand Noah for a capsule collection with exclusive clothing items including a pocket tee, crewneck in two colors and a long sleeve tee, all available here for purchase.
