Weekend Premiere New Video For “Rosaries”

Weekend Premiere Stirring, Self-Directed New Music Video "Rosaries". announce new tour dates across North America this January supported by Nothing in Chicago, NYC, Montreal, Madison & more.

Brooklyn-via-San Fran noise rockers Weekend may be loud, but they also have a sensitive side, as evidenced by stirring new music video for “Rosaries” off their sophomore record Jinx (July 23, Slumberland Records). Bandmates Shaun Durkan and Kevin Johnson made the video themselves – it’s not the first time the art school grads collaborated on a music video.  Weekend’s new visuals for “Rosaries” just premiered today.

On their upcoming U.S. tour this January 2014, Weekend will remain foucsed on translating their new roaring, critically-acclaimed sophomore album Jinx (7/23, Slumberland Records) into a live show that brings this evocative album to life. The result is a performance that is equal parts electricity and beauty – pounding rhythms and dark post-punk vibes shoved through a shoegaze filter and glossed over with honey-sweet melodies and Shaun’s distant, wailing vocals.

Bandmates Shaun Durkan (vocals, bass), Kevin Johnson (guitar), Abe Pedroza (drums) and  Nick Ray (bass) will likely be contributing to spikes in earplug sales as they hit multiple North American cities in 2014, turning up the volume in NYC, Chicago, Madison and more.
