“Weave” By Lockstep is Northern Transmissions Song of the Day

Lockstep is inspired by the sounds of post-rock, shoegaze, and doom. Their sound will assuage fans of Jesu and Nothing. Today the Nashville based have shared their new single “Weave”. Lockstep is comprised of Austin Rolison (Drums and Vocals), Matt Schumacher (Guitar and Vocals), and Tanner Ihrie (bass).

“Weave” is lifted from the band’s upcoming EP, Arrival, set for release on May 19th. The EP was self-produced and recorded by the band with guitarist Matt Schumacher taking the lead on tracking and mixing, and mastering was done by Zac Montez (Cloakroom, Keep). Arrival marks Lockstep’s first proper release, following their two song output, Lockstep 1, released in April 2021.
