Watch Until The Ribbon Breaks “King” video
Continuing their support of A Lesson Unlearnt, UK band Until The Ribbon Breaks have announced a new tour taking them across North American next month. The tour is set to commence on September 4th in Denver, CO at the Larimer Lounge.
Today the band also premiered “re-imagination” of Years & Years track “King.” Until The Ribbon Breaks front man, chief lyricist, producer, and passionate film maker (and former film student) Pete Lawrie-Winfield drew visual references and inspiration from the lyrics, explaining “beneath the undeniable pop charm of the original, there is something darker to be pulled from a lyric like ‘I was a king under your control’. As a visual inspiration, Ryan Goslings directorial debut ‘lost river’ was the perfect fit.
