“Wake Me Up Again” Boniface

Boniface, recently shared the video for his new single, “Wake Me Back Up.” The track is now available via Royal Mountain/Transgressive Records. Recorded in London earlier this year whilst working on material for his highly-anticipated debut album, “Wake Me Back Up” is a propulsive, synthpop anthem, co-produced alongside Neil Comber (Glass Animals, Declan McKenna, Gengahr) and featuring a rip roaring guitar solo from labelmate Ben Gregory of Blaenavon.

Directed by Visser himself alongside his brother Joey Visser, he describes the video as: “”Wake Me Back Up” is about feeling you’re on the brink of something significant. In my case it was a relationship, but it could be anything that feels important to you right now. The video was directed by my brother Joey, made with the help of some kind and talented friends. We filmed it in a very hot garage a few weeks back. Actually, the same garage the song was written in a few summers ago.”

2019 has been a busy year for Boniface AKA: Micah Visser, he has toured extensively on both sides of the Atlantic, alongside Let’s Eat Grandma, Blaenavon, White Lies, Foals and most recently Joy Formidable. Next, they will be joining Circa Waves on their upcoming European tour this October.
