“U.F.O.” Boy Azooga (Jim Sullivan cover)

Boy Azooga, who most recently released brand new standalone single “O Silly Me”, have shared a cracking cover of cult U.S. singer songwriter Jim Sullivan’s track “U.F.O.” alongside its accompanying video. The video, was directed by Cardiff based On Par Productions, is a montage of title sequences of 1970s U.S. cop shows. The band are currently writing and recording the follow up to 1,2 Kung Fu!, details of which are forthcoming.

Talking about “U.F.O.” Davey Newington of the band said: “I was introduced to Jim Sullivan’s U.F.O last year by Tom Friend in Friendly Records. It has become one of my favourite ever albums since. Hope we did it some justice! Would like to dedicate this version to Pete, safe voyage on your U.F.O.”

Boy Azooga released their debut album 1,2 Kung Fu! in 2018 on Heavenly Recordings, the band shared the video to “O Silly Me” in November of last year.
