“Trigger Finger” Modern Time Machines

LA-based shoegaze band Modern Time Machines recently dropped their wonderful new Ep Practical FX + Physical Media on July 29th. The album was Produced by Josiah Mazzaschi (Jesus & Mary Chain, Smashing Pumpkins, Deap Vally), the album features contributions from Kaitlin Wolfberg (that dog., Wild Honey Orchestra), and Ryan Connor (Sublamp), and material from the album can be heard alongside They Might Be Giants in the award-winning indie feature film, “Dramarama.”

“Trigger Finger” is described by the Los Angeles band as “a nerdy psychedelic homage to a 1964 Twilight Zone episode, where all the band members become miniature toys.”

Modern Time Machines was invited to perform live nationally on the premiere episode of Adult Swim’s cult TV hit The Eric Andre Show, and their tunes can be heard on the soundtracks of films such as “My Teacher, My Obsession” and “Killer Cove” on Netflix.

Lovers of shoegaze and noise pop, you might have found yer favourite new band. Modern Time Machines is definitely worthy of a few spins.
