Tiny Ruins Streaming LP, Announce US Tour

With the release of their new LP Brightly Painted One just around the corner, Tiny Ruins have made their new album available for streaming via the New York Times’ Press Play page. Although the album is to be released next week via Flying Nun Records, it can be streamed in its entirety here. You can also listen to the first track off the album, “Me At The Museum, You In The Wintergardens” above.

Originally started as a solo project of Hollie Fullbrook in 2009, the band now includes two other members, namely bassist Cass Basil and drummer Alexander Freer. Brightly Painted One will be the sophomore release by the New-Zealand band, who have spent most of the past three years touring throughout Australia, Europe & the US, opening for artists such as Beach House, Joanna Newsom, Fleet Foxes, Father John Misty, The Handsome Family and Calexico. The upcoming album is going to be a reflection of the band’s life overing the past three years, encompassing the themes of tour life, working from home, relationships and everyday observations.
