On Saturday August 15, Embrace hosts their annual Time Festival at the historic Fort York Garrison Commons. Time Festival continues to bring an eclectic mix of musical talent, to embrace music beyond today’s niche sub-genres, by replacing this divide with an obscure and unique line-up. Covering all bases from indie rock, hip-hop, techno, to electro all on one main stage.

This year’s line-up starts off with headlining act Die Antwoord. The South African rap-rave duo have managed to push all the boundaries with their perplex style of music, gothic-grunge appearance and vivid performances. Mac Demarco and self-proclaimed “jizz jazz”/ indie rock artist from British Columbia makes his Time debut after a very successful year with the release of his album Salad Days. The Young Indiana born, rap artist Freddie Gibbs brings will be there for Toronto’s turn out of hip-hop kids. Canadian producer Ryan Hemsworth also returns to Time Festival for his second year in a row!
This year at Time Festival you will also hear from Ariel Pink, BADBADNOTGOOD, DIIV, Alison Wonderland, Tory Lanez, Tommy Kruise, Lobby and Elliott Vincent Jones.
