Niia has announced her new album V, will arrive on October 10th via Candid Records. The LP was produced with Spencer Zahn (Pigments with Dawn Richards) and producer/songwriter Lawrence Rothman (Angel Olsen, SASAMI, Soccer Mommy). For the new record, Niia has returned to her her first love and true love, jazz. Ahead of the album’s arrival, Niia has released the singles, “Throw My Head Out The Window,” and “Ronny Cammareri.” Together, the tracks offer a glimpse into the layered musicianship, shifting styles, and emotional depth that define the record.

“​​Throw My Head Out the Window” was written by Niia, Zahn, Rothman, and Chloe Angelides. The track features bassist Anna Butterss and Nicole McCabe on saxophone.

“Ronny Cammareri” takes its title from Nicolas Cage’s Moonstruck character. “I love Moonstruck, it’s a perfect film.I feel a lot like Ronny who is chaos, passion and fate – love that makes no sense but changes everything,” she says. The instrumental track rides a slow-burning groove, with Niia almost lazil scat singing the melody in unison with the horn. The track features Benny Bock (Sam Wilkes, Sam Gendel, Feist) on keys multi-instrumentalist Jon Natchez (The War On Drugs, Beirut, St. Vincent) on horns.

In July, Niia released her take on the beloved 1946 jazz standard “Angel Eyes.” The single offers her version featuring just her voice and Benny Bock on piano, and produced by Spencer Zahn.

Additionally, Niia will embark on the first leg of her European fall tour October 4th in Cologne, Germany. The tour makes stops in Denmark, Switzerland, and Hungary, before wrapping on October 28th in Vienna, Austria. Full tour dates below, with more to come.
