This House is Creaking (THiC) have dropped new single “There’s A Stench In The Air.” The single follows their release of their song “2 LAMP (lava lamp).” This song previews a new album out later this year, with further details coming soon.
“Have you ever had a strange smell in your apartment? No? Just us? Well, we fondly wrote a song about that and other daily annoyances that we experience,” says This House is Creaking. “Learning to love the places you exist in and making them work for you is the name of the game.”

The band kicked off the year, opening for DIIV at Lincoln Hall, Chicago, IL in January as part of the iconic Tomorrow Never Knows Festival’s 20th anniversary edition, and a performance at Ground Control Touring Presents: 4th Annual Abortion Access Benefit Series.

This April, THiC will be performing at Schuba’s on April 11 with The Courts, And I You and Sick Day, and April 25 at Art of Gallery with Baby, Patter and Peeler. Fans of the band include Water From Your Eyes and Hotline TNT, and supported Delaney Bailey on a Midwest tour last fall. Drawing on Miller’s roots in electronic music and Nauman’s skill as a guitarist (playing in bands such as Godly the Ruler and M.A.G.S.).
