The Pictish Trail Debut ‘The Handstand Crowd’

The Pictish Trail is pleased to share the delightful new video for ‘The Handstand Crowd’. Taken from Secret Soundz Vol 2. Filmed at his Howlin’ Fling festival on the Isle of Eigg – which took place in July featuring performances from the likes of Jens LekmanSteve MasonAlexis Taylor and Beth Orton – the video is part of a short film about the festival due later this month.

Made by Forest of Black (Belle & Sebastian, Camera Obscura, The Pastels), the video for ‘The Handstand Crowd’ intentionally only focuses on the audience and not the musicians, it’s a reference to the song title, the sense of comfort and also isolation within a crowd.

The Pictish Trail is heading out on tour with Moshi Moshi labelmate Sweet Baboo later this year including a date at London’s Southbank Centre.
