The Last Dinner Party have dropped new single, “Knocking At The Sky,” the track is off their extended digital deluxe edition of their second album, From The Pyre. The Last Dinner Party recently completed a lengthy headline tour across North America, this summer will see them play Isle of Wight, TRNSMT, Latitude, Finsbury Park (w/ Wolf Alice), and other festival dates, before returning to the States for an arena tour in support of sombr.

The band will also support Olivia Rodrigo when she takes “The Unravelled Tour” to Los Angeles and New York in January and February 2027. All twenty dates are now sold out. The band previously supported Rodrigo at her BST Hyde Park show back in June 2025.

The band reveals, “”Knocking At The Sky” is the final tale from The Pyre. After creating an album about storytelling and world-building, we thought it apt to end this act with a story set in the sinister myth world itself: Los Angeles. Hollywood is the ultimate fairytale; the stakes are at surreal heights, the landscape is unruly and plastic, and it’s populated with a cast of Grimm characters all striving and struggling at the center of their own hero’s journey.”

The track arrives with a music video shot by director Sinclair Bryant in the band’s ersatz LA, an homage to classic cinema, paying tribute to the sirens of Hollywood noir, the scream queens of slasher films and skin flicks, and the underground world of John Waters.

In April of this year, The Last Dinner Party hosted The Market Place at The MáLà Project in Brooklyn, where they invited a handpicked selection of local artists and creatives to exhibit and sell their work, offering a unique platform to introduce new and established artists to a new audience.

In addition to The Market Place, the band’s Ribbons for Provisions project has been active throughout their current U.S. tour, supporting local food banks in each of the cities they’ve been performing, with ribbons handed out to volunteers and donors. The band recently raised almost £50,000 for the initiative in the UK and Europe, and have already raised over $40,000 in the U.S. as well.
