The Hives release the title track from their forthcoming album The Hives Forever Forever The Hives, the LP arrives on August 29 via Play It Again Sam. The song, a celebration of their 30 years together, is accompanied by a video directed by Filip Nilsson, where the band dethrones their royal counterparts and set fire to their back catalogue, making way for their new era. It’s the first music video to be filmed at the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm.

The Hives Forever Forever The Hives was produced by their longtime collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt (Viagra Boys, Yung Lean, Elvira) as well as the band’s old tourmate Mike D of the Beastie Boys, who flew out to Sweden specifically to work on the album and hosted the band at his studio in Malibu. Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age contributed to the record, too. The Hives are Howlin’ Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Johan And Only, Nicholaus Arson and Vigilante Carlstroem.
