Today, The Head and the Heart reveal the second single from their forthcoming album Signs Of Light. “Library Magic” was released this morning and will be free to anyone who pre-orders the record or who has already placed their pre-order. “Library Magic” is the follow up to the previously released single, “All We Ever Knew,” which debuted last month. Signs of Light will be released on September 9th via Warner Bros. Records.

“Library Magic” was written by band member Charity Thielen. “I wrote that song after having our first real time off as a band,” she says. “It touches on the storied relationships between band members trying to survive living in a van off of accelerated time and gas station crafts for years straight, but it also applies to any of life’s relationships.”

The Head and the Heart appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently and performed “All We Ever Knew.” The band also made on screen appearances in the first two episodes of the Cameron Crowe written and directed Showtime series, Roadies.

The Head and the Heart have also announced summer tour dates and their fall US Signs of Light tour with sold out shows in Denver at Red Rocks, in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium, and in Seattle at The Paramount Theatre.
