The Field – exclusive track for Adult Swim, Remix EP and tour dates

Axel Willner marks the return of The Field with a high-caliber remix collection featuring Junior Boys, Blondes and Mohn. Junior Boys convert the album’s epic title track into a finely detailed pusher sporting rippling synths and a Kraftwerk-like bassline. Early computer music meets the Junior’s trademark 1980s slickness, and the result is an opulent goosebump fest with tightly programmed beats catering to those very special moments every floor is craving for.

Adult Swim cartoon network who came up with a sharp and simple concept: they commissioned nine artists to create an original track and will be giving them away for free… one every week, for nine weeks. The line up sports alternative luminaries like Flying Lotus, Wavves, Com Truise and – you might have guessed it – The Field. “Looping State Of Mind Remixe” and Axel’s track for Adult Swim are both out on July 30th.
