UK band, Bleach Lab recently shared the their new EP, Nothing Feels Real. The album will drop on October 15, 2021, ahead of their headlining show at The Lexington, in London. Along with the news, the band have released their new single, “Talk It Out.” The track follows their previous single “Real Thing.”

Bleach Lab on “Talk It Out:”

“Talk It Out’ started as a song about mental health and times when people should open up about their inner thoughts and anxieties. As the song developed, we approached it from a perspective of being run down so much by a relationship that you thought you loved so much but over time realising that it’s changing who you are, all just to make the other person happy at the cost of your own happiness”.

Produced by Stephen Street (The Cranberries, The Smiths, Blur), the band’s second EP finds them processing complex emotions once more. While their debut EP, ‘A Calm Sense of Surrounding’, found them processing grief, in particular the loss of Josh Longman’s father, its follow-up finds them striving to set boundaries both personally and romantically.

With a focus on mental health, and a desire to find relationships that bring a constructive and positive influence to one another’s lives, ‘Nothing Feels Real’ finds them retreating into themselves even further than previously, learning from past experiences to move forward.
