UK band Bleach Lab drop have shared new single “Take It Slow,” the track arrives with the news of their signing to Nettwerk (Ólafur Arnalds).

The band’s debut EP, A Calm Sense of Surrounding, found them grappling with anger, denial, depression and acceptance through grief, in particular the loss of bassist Josh Longman’s father. Their second offering, Nothing Feels Real, arrived on 15th October just days ahead of their sold-out headline show at The Lexington. Produced by Stephen Street (The Cranberries, The Smiths, Blur), the EP surrounds the band’s processing of complex emotion and bravely baring their open-hearted vulnerability, striving to set boundaries personally and romantically. Inspired by past bands like The Sundays and The Cranberries, Nothing Feels Real is the document of a band who have vastly progressed both musically and emotionally.

Comprised of lead singer Jenna Kyle, drummer Kieran Weston with his love for ethereal pop, guitarist Frank Wates’ knack for crystalline, dream-pop and bassist Josh Longman’s driving consistency and collaborative lyric work, Bleach Lab are a heady concoction. Hailing from Buckinghamshire, Bleach Lab are now based in South London, the band are an unmissable live act – having stepped up to a sold out crowd at Omeara in March 2022 and now set to play festivals across the UK this summer, finishing up in Autumn with headline shows in Bristol, Southampton and a London show at Lafayette on 11th November.
