“Sweet Tuesday (Stars Mix)” from iskwē’s new album, The Stars (a re-imagination of her album acākosīk). This song was written for her dear friend, a kindred spirit who ventured back to the sky world after a long and courageous battle with cancer. It is the follow-up to “Night Danger (Lovers Mix)”.

“The Stars version of ‘Sweet Tuesday’ had been a dream of mine for quite some time, working with a chamber-style arrangement, which had originally been inspired by Bjork’s performance of Unravel at Riverside Church. I really loved the idea of simplifying even further, to the root essence of each tune, attempting to capture simply the emotion.”

It is an elegant and intimate sharing of the collection and features new arrangements of piano, cello and violin and a dramatic orchestral reimagining of “Night Danger (Lovers Mix)” allowing iskwē’s songwriting, voice and spirit to shine.
