Swedish House Mafia Drop "See The Light (feat. Fridayy)"

Swedish House Mafia have just dropped a new music video for their new single “See The Light (ft. Fridayy).” The song, which made its debut in the electronic trio’s closing set at ULTRA Music Festival in Miami earlier this year, combines pulsing synths and melodies with otherworldly vocals from breaking Philadelphia rapper Fridayy. The video, directed by visual artist Joel Eliasson, is an abstract collage of both new and archival clips.

The track follows previous sungles “Heaven Takes You Home” [feat. Connie Constance] They also notably produced The Weeknd’s “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” from the blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) and film.

n 2008, a trio of individual artists, DJs, and producers united to form Swedish House Mafia, including Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Axwell—infused house music with swaggering hip-hop beat-craft, rock ‘n’ roll attitude. Ushering dance music culture out of the warehouses and clubs and into arenas and stadiums. They became the first electronic act to headline (and sell out) Madison Square Garden in 2011 and the first to grace the main stage at Coachella in 2012. The marathon record-breaking One Last Tour paved the way for a five-year break before they returned as surprise headliners of Ultra Music Festival’s 20th anniversary in 2018.
