“Stuck In A Dream” is the latest single from Superchunk. The new song is the final promotional single ahead of their forthcoming album Song In The Key of Yikes, out August 22 via Merge Records.

The new single is a bright, crowd-pleasing punk song. “Based on an actual dream that wouldn’t end, it’s a late-in-the-sequence upbeat number put there to reward everyone who’s listened that far,” says vocalist Mac McCaughan. “Voted song most likely to become ‘fastest and most requested song on the record we never play live’ à la ‘Her Royal Fisticuffs’ and ‘Slow Drip,’ but I think we will learn it for real.” The track features backing vocals by drummer Laura King, who is now on the official lineup after touring with Superchunk for two years.
