Radhika, have released “Starry Eyes,” the track features contributions from Teenage Fanclub Gerard Love (vocals, acoustic guitar/piano) and Mitch Mitchell from The Pastels (backing vocals). The song was previously released as a transparent green flexi-disc but now available digitally for the very first time via Glass Modern. Radhika’s music takes inspiration from the films of David Lynch, her Indian heritage, and fellow pop artists Cocteau Twins, Broadcast, Felt, Strawberry Switchblade and The Go-Betweens.

Radhika says of the single: “I was looking through some old black and white pictures with my grandmother Soma and she said in a soft voice ‘I miss my mother’. This gentle intergenerational exchange was the starting point for Starry Eyes. The words ‘your disintegration is a cosmic lullaby’ encapsulates the essence of the song, which explores the passing of souls into the next realm.”

“Starry Eyes” follows Radhika’s debut single “Future Me.” Fans of the project include – include Bilinda Butcher (My Bloody Valentine), Stephen Pastel (The Pastels), Robert Forster (The Go-Betweens), Stuart Murdoch (Belle & Sebastian), Duglas T Stewart (BMX Bandits), Tracyanne Campbell (Camera Obscura) and C Duncan.
