“Spill” by The Glazzies

Yesterday, Long Island alt-rock duo The Glazzies premiered their new video for “Spill.” The song is off their recently released album Kill Me Kindly via Old Flame Records.

Singer/guitarist Peter Landi said of the video, “We originally had another idea for the video that fell through the day before we were scheduled to shoot. I talked to Micah and Bill, who directed the video, about some other ideas and we came up with the super fan who crashes one of our rehearsals, and it just went from there. Our friend George was visiting from England, so I asked him if he would be in the video. He was really cool about it, he had no idea that we were going to cover him in fake blood and dirt. Definitely the most fun we’ve had making a video.”

Consisting of singer/guitarist Peter Landi and drummer Dave Horn, the duo specialize in hook-filled anthems thick with the buzz of overdriven guitars, recalling the heyday of 90’s alternative rock while adding their own particular blend of grunge and psychedelia.

Kill Me Kindly was produced by Justin Pizzoferrato (Speedy Ortiz, Sonic Youth) and follows the 2015 Satin Stain EP featuring Dinosaur Jr.’s Murph on drums. The band will be touring in the spring of 2017.
