spill tab has released her debut album ANGIE via Because Music. spill tab is the project of Claire Chicha. The artist/producer talked about the records that inspired her in her youth, all the way up to the release of ANGIE.

Speaking about the record, which was made with her LA-based community of collaborators like producer David Marinelli, Solomonophic, Wyatt and Austin and John DeBold, spill tab shares “It became this beautiful experience of only following ideas that I really believed in and exploring all the musical avenues I hadn’t before. I’ve never been more excited about the songs on ANGIE, and I’ve never felt like a project is more mine.”

Raised by a French Algerian composer father and a Korean pianist mother, Chicha spent her early years immersed in music at her parents’ post-production studio, absorbing jazz, classical, and other diverse influences. Following a childhood spent between LA, Thailand, and Paris, where she picked up guitar and soaked in a variety of musical traditions.
