Space Above is the project of Aaron Short, producer and keyboardist for The Naked and Famous. With fellow New Zealanders Maddie North (So Below) and Sam McCarthy (BOYBOY). “The video was inspired by the underground youth rave culture in Kiev, Ukraine. The themes of change and finding your feet expressed in the lyrics translated in the video so well, and with the driving force of the instrumentation backing it, Jordan knew a strong dance performance video would perfectly connect the songs energy with the visual world.”

Aaron Short on the video: “We wanted to make the video as true to form as possible, so all the cast involved were locals with interest in the scene, and dressed however they wanted to express themselves. We shot the whole clip in one night in an amazing abandoned warehouse space, everything felt so authentic and we all had such an amazing night/morning shooting.”
