“Something To Remember Me By” by The Horrors

The Horrors’ fifth album V was released last week on Wolf Tone/Caroline. The album was recorded at The Church in London with producer ‪Paul Epworth (FKA twigs, ‪Lorde, Adele, ‪Florence and the Machine, ‪Coldplay) and is the sound of a band making the most expansive and progressive music of their careers.

Last week, The Horrors also released the cinematic and mysterious new video for “Something to Remember Me By,” a song praised as one of the band’s best tracks to-date. “This video is a comment on society’s obsession with celebrity and the music industry’s attempt to take advantage of that,” notes director Max Weiland. “A strange corporation harvests The Horrors for their real blood, sweat, tears and more, turning their bodily fluids into consumer products ready for the mass market.”
