Ellis AKA: Linnea Siggelkow, or L.S. recently shared her new single “Something Blue”. On the track, Ellis says that: “I think everyone has a moment that they wish they could time-travel back to and have a do-over. This song is about mine, hindsight can be a real bitch.” Ellis is also set to head to the UK for the first time this May to play a headline show at The Great Escape Festival, ahead of North American dates with American Football, Fog Lake, and Alvvays. A full list of dates can be found below.

Ellis, the daughter of a traveling book salesman and a piano teacher, crafts music with a faint voice, a fervent guitar, and lyrics that are effortlessly and simultaneously vulnerable and bold. Built from simple instrumentation, the six-track release showcases Siggelkow’s artistic vision and songwriting skills.

opening stints with the likes of Soccer Mommy, Gabby’s World, Chastity, Palehound, and Free Cake For Every Creature, garnered international acclaim with the release of a series of singles, earning comparisons to Mazzy Star, Alvvays and Slowdive.
