“Snakeskin ∞ Has-Been” By Leon Vynehall

Leon Vynehall will release his new album Rare, Forever, will be released on April 30th via Ninja. Today, Vynehall has shared the track “Snakeskin ∞ Has-Been”, alongside a new visual by Eric Timothy Carlson and Aaron Anderson (both Grammy nominated for their work with Bon Iver). Rare, Forever follows Vynehall’s 2018’s debut Nothing Is Still

Speaking of the new track Vynehall says:

“Over and over in a snake’s life it will molt and shed it’s old, outgrown skin. It does not grow with the size of the snake itself, and soon hinders its advancement, leaving the skin behind like a memory. An artefact of where it once was. I believe good artists do this too. It’s what I try to do with every record.”

After bringing euphoria to dancefloors all over the world with the humid house of ‘Rojus (Designed To Dance)’ and ‘Music For The Uninvited’, Leon Vynehall took a sharp left turn with debut album ‘Nothing Is Still’—a masterclass in subverting expectations. On ‘Rare, Forever’ Vynehall is showcasing all the strings to his bow—creating music that’s borderless and unbound. The album sees Vynehall for the first time investigating who he is as a person and artist in the very moment, rather than looking to the past to discover what and who has shaped him.

More recently, Vynehall has set up a new recording space ‘Studio Ooze’ to expand his collaborations and has been writing and producing for the likes of KAM-BU—including the recently released ‘Are You On?’—Wesley Joseph, Kenzie TTH and Jeshi, with a number of tracks slated for imminent release.
