Lykke Li has new single “Sick of Love,” the track is off the artist’s forthcoming album The Afterparty, available May 8th via. Says Li: “I had a lot of fun writing these lyrics,” she says, I laughed a lot.” That sense of mischief carries into the song’s closing: the voices of children laughing and playing, the echo of an inner child she refuses to let go. The track arrives ahead of the artist’s appearance at Coachella, where she will be performing on April 10 and 17.

The run of dates will be the first time Lykke Li performs music from The Afterparty and is the start of her 2026 tour which will take her to The Fonda in Los Angeles on April 14, then to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Mexico City Ireland, London and across Europe this summer.

The Afterparty was produced and written by Lykke Li and longtime collaborator Björn Yttling in Los Angeles and recorded in Stockholm with a 17-piece string orchestra,

Li’s  debut album  Youth Novels (2008), followed up by Wounded Rhymes (2011), I Never Learn (2014), So Sad So Sexy (2018), and EYEEYE (2022).
