Alessandro Cortini has shared a new video for “Sabbia”. The clip, directed by Emilie Elizabeth and Alessandra Leone, opens out the visual mood of the artwork for his latest album, VOLUME MASSIMO (Mute Records), into a film that will be familiar to fans who have already had the chance to see Cortini’s live performances across North America and Europe. Following the live launch at Berlin Atonal and performances across the United States, Cortini continues his VOLUME MASSIMO tour with performances throughout Europe.
Alessandro Cortini’s music – both in his solo work and as a member of Nine Inch Nails – casts the listener into an intricately rendered vortex of emotive dynamics where he expertly maximizes the boundaries of contemporary electronic music. The new album, VOLUME MASSIMO, combines his fondness for melody with the rigor of experimental practice that strikes a balance between analog composition and cathartic dissonance, creating a momentous continuation of the aching electronics that he is known for.
