Ryal covers George Micheal’s “Father Figure”

RYAL shares cover of George Michael's "Father Figure"

RYAL’s cover of “Father Figure” follows the release of “Record On” (SoundCloud), the lead single from their debut full-length Silver & Gold (out this July). RYAL is an alt-pop project based in New York City, comprised of singer/songwriter Jacque Ryal and the renowned NYC producer Aaron Nevezie (The Bunker), who have already drawn comparisons to artists like Portishead, Prince, and Florence & The Machine. Their sound combines the soulfulness of Solange with the dream pop of The xx.

Ryal’s sound on their forthcoming debut release Silver & Gold, has been described as “driven by the vintage electronic textures of modular synth bass lines locked to analog drum machines and keyboards.” Stay tuned for more info on the album, coming soon!
