New York City band Ruby My Dear have just released their new video for the single “Dirt.” The band’s influences stem from experimental trip-hop with neo-jazz foundations.Fronted by vocalist Gabbi Coenen, Ruby My Dear draws inspiration from acts like Dirty Projectors, London Grammar, Portishead, and Hiatus Kaiyote.

Ruby My Dear was formed in 2012 when members Gabbi Coenen (vocals), Darren Denman (keys), Zack Hartmann (bass), Oscar Rodriguez (guitar) and Jay Rudolph (drums) met while studying at The New School for Jazz. The fivesome released their debut, self-titled EP in 2013.
