Ellen Kempner, Boston’s Palehound released her album, A Place I’ll Always Go, on Polyvinyl Record Co. earlier this summer. recently, the band shared the illustrated music video for album single, “Room,” created by Rozalina Burkova premiering via Stereogum.

Of the collaboration, Ellen explains, “I found Rozalina’s art randomly on the internet one day and became obsessed. I adore the way she draws bodies and I relate to her characters. I knew that she was perfect for bringing the queer love behind Room to life and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful video.” Rozalina echoes the same sentiment, sharing how “working with Ellen on the video is probably my favourite project this year. Her sole requirement for me was to animate a queer love story. So we bounced a few ideas of each other and I think what came out is a pretty intimate but fun romance.”
