Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever shared a new song off their debut album, Hope Downs (out 6/15 on Sub Pop). You can view the lyric video to album opener “An Air Conditioned Man” below, which “captures the sonic urgency of the song as a car flies through a city at night.” The song’s denouement is mirrored by a similarly calming car wash as the video ends. “This song follows the slow burning panic of a salary man,” explains singer Fran Keaney. “The world around him has become artificial and automated. A street triggers a realization of what he’s lost.”
