RJD2 has unveiled the new video for Dame Fortune single “The Sheboygan Left” via Mass Appeal along with an interview. Directors Keenan Parry and Ason Intrigue (The Wizard & The Bear) spent days underground with New York dancers Anna Zekan and Adam Dickerson. They tried to utilize the early morning/late shift workers crowd to inverse the upbeat and energetic feel of “The Sheboygan Left.” Thus capturing an incredible array of people interacting or otherwise completely ignoring them throughout the video.

Parry and Intrigue took advantage of the improvisational skills of the dancers to interact and dance around people as they followed the visual manifestation of the music through the subways. Both directors have a strong background in editing and cinematography and alternatively shot and edited throughout the entire process; building the story more and more each time they went underground and allowing the dancers to adapt their performance. With the animation provided by Parry, a sort of cat and mouse between the grungy New York underbelly and the jubilant “Sheboygan Left” emerged.
