“Right To It” by Louis The Child ft: Ashe

Electronic artists Louis The Child, comprised of 21-year-old Robby Hauldren and 20-year-old Freddy Kennett, share their music video for “Right To It,” featuring Ashe.

Of the lilting, summery “Right to It,” Hauldren says: “Freddy started playing this bass line and everyone was like, ‘Yes, that.’ It’s crazy when you have that kind of energy in a room where all of a sudden everyone is instantly inspired. We wrote the entire song a couple of hours later. It has a Sunday barbeque, day-drinking type of vibe. We were like, ‘Let’s just write a song that would feel incredible when you’re hanging out, just kicking it on a beautiful day.’”

Louis The Child’s “Last To Leave” tour features support from Joey Purp, Lauv, Louis Futon, Prince Fox, Party Pupils, Point Point, and Win & Woo on select dates. Tour dates are below and tickets and more info can be found here.

Louis The Child have announced their first annual ‘Friendsgiving’ event in their hometown of Chicago. The event will begin with a pop up at Emporium Pop Ups (previously hosted by Run The Jewels and Stranger Things) on Wednesday November 22nd, leading into their biggest headline show to date at the Aragon Ballroom on Friday November 24th. The band is currently hosting an online donation drive for the Greater Chicago Food Depository as well as a portion of proceeds from the show benefitting the Greater Chicago Food Depository and SocialWorks.
