Remy Banks shares new track “N1GO”

Remy Banks shares single "N1GO," announces mixtape 'Higher.'

Born in Jamaica, Queens and raised in Forest Hills, Remy Banks has seen both sides of the borough. His versatile style both on and off the microphone exemplify this rigid dichotomy. “Growing up, I was all over queens. Bayside to Southside, Long Island City to Hollis, I embraced the whole borough”.

Remy started to take rapping serious at age 19 when he and his Worlds Fair cohorts first met. “We all grew up together one way or another so we started a conglomerate and gave it a name,” he said speaking of World’s Fair’s formation.

After the crew’s first project Bastards Of The Party (Fools Gold Records) as well as collaborations with Earl Sweatshirt and MellowHigh (“Cold World”), Bodega Bamz (“GLDCHN”), Domo Genesis (“Drugs Got Me Spiritual” & “More Clouds”) and others (“3FLIPS6” with A$AP Ant and Juice of Flatbush Zombies), Remy knew his time was next.

Remy’s forthcoming project higher. is his first solo effort since World’s Fair’s Bastards of the Party, and features Odd Future and The Internet’s Syd, D.R.A.M. and Hak of Ratking, as well as production from frequent collaborator Black Noi$e, King Krule, Odd Future’s Left Brain and Ratking’s Sporting Life, among others.

Today, Remy is sharing the project’s second single as well as its cover (shot by Brock Fetch), track listing and release date. This comes in the midst of Remy touring with Earl Sweatshirt as part of the “Not Redy 2 Leave Tour” along with Vince Staples.
