Redspencer share New Single ‘Ride It Out’

Redspencer share Dreamy New Single "Ride It Out." their debut EP is due for release June 1st

Melbourne’s Redspencer have unveiled the latest tune off their forthcoming self-titled debut EP. The track ‘Ride It Out’ recalls the same brand of breezy, vocal-driven pop as previous single “Happy Slow Riverbends.”

Frontman Dave McMillan’s vocals are as charmingly nonchalant as ever and are crafted seamlessly into the steady pace of the song. Channelling the likes of Cass McCombs, Real Estate and Deerhunter, McMillan’s hazy vocals wash over rich, reverberating guitar and the steel-string twang of a semi-acoustic — all neatly cocooned in the warmth of analogue production.

The release was mastered by Mikey Young (Total Control, Eddy Current Suppression Ring).

Redspencer take to the stage early next month for the launch of their debut EP, due for release June 1st via Deaf Ambitions.
