“Prick” By glaive

glaive has shared a new video for his single “prick.” The clip was directed by Mooch (Trippie Redd, iann dior). The song, produced with Perto, will be included on a forthcoming deluxe version of his second EP all dogs go to heaven, out in January and titled old dog new tricks. glaive is also set to embark on his first ever headline tour of North America in February 2022 with dates including Los Angeles’ The Fonda and New York’s Webster Hall.

Recently, glaive and fellow young artist ericdoa shared their collaborative EP then i’ll be happy. The project features previously shared tracks “cloak n dagger” and “fuck this town.” The duo also played a sold-out run of dates this past fall with stops including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

“Sonically, this song feels like a step forward for me,” says glaive. “I recorded it in July and it’s since gone on to become my favorite song I’ve ever made. It was the first song Perto and I made together and we’ve got a ton more coming soon.”

glaive is a vocalist, songwriter and producer from North Carolina, who began making music at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, releasing his first song on Soundcloud in April 2020. His rise in the year and a half since has been meteoric, supported by a steady stream of new music that has quickly earned him a devoted following. He shared his debut EP cypress grove last fall,
