Bestival Toronto has returned to Canada for it’s second consecutive year. Making the move from Toronto Island, while scenic but problematic, to Woodbine Park has proven to be the right choice. With crowds of up to 15,000, the new venue provides much bigger grounds to better accommodate the three stages and many events. Saturday night featured headlining performances from Tame Impala and Porter Robinson, but the energy of the crowd was pulsing away long before they took to their stages. Jamie xx (main stage) and Madeon (the Big Top) each delivered entertaining evening sets that kept spirits at a consistent high.
