Pearl Charles "Sweet Sunshine Wine"

Pearl Charles, returns to share a new single. “Sweet Sunshine Wine” is your perfect track for the summer. The track combines the sounds of alt-country, pop, and with DIY spirit, similar to her previous release Sleepless Dreamer. Out on Kanine Records with an accompanying lyric video, the song was produced by Lewis Pesacov (Best Coast, Fidlar, Nikki Lane) and co-written by her, Matthew James (No Warning) and Ben Cook (No Warning/Fucked Up).

Pearl Charles on “Sweet Sunshine Wine”

“Wherever I go, when people hear we’re a California born-and-bred band, they ask us to bring some of our famously good weather with us. While planning the first tour to the notoriously cloudy United Kingdom, I thought to myself, how can I bottle up some of that sweet California sunshine and share it with not only with the people England and Scotland, but with the whole world? I linked up with friends James Delong and Ben Cook and Sweet Sunshine Wine was born! The song is a nod to soaking up the good vibes of new Summer love, with little moments of musical inspiration from all your favorite sun-kissed ’70s hits sprinkled throughout.”

The song arrives ahead of her first tour of the UK. Starting May 4th at Liverpool’s Sound City Festival, she’s set to play 8 shows across the country including stops at Great Escape and Hit The North Festivals.
