“Pale Rose” by theMIND

Today, theMIND is sharing his second solo offering as a solo artist with a music video for his new song “Pale Rose”. The Nathan Smith and Sebastian Sdaigui directed visual finds theMIND’s character joining a group of women on a night of crime, debauchery, and mayhem in NYC. The song premiered last night on Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 show and the video arrived today with a profile by Noisey.

Several weeks ago the Chicago-via-Philly artist emerged with his first artistic statement with the song “Mercury Rising” which was followed up with a stunning claymation video by NYC based artist and designer Kid Super. theMIND has been incubating in Chicago within the artist collective, THEMpeople. After featuring on songs with the likes of Chicago rappers Mick Jenkins and G Herbo, as well as Brooklyn’s Kirk Knight (who also has a cameo in “Pale Rose”), theMIND is now stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist. TheMIND’s first full length body of work, Summer Camp, will arrive in May.
