Otlo is the moniker of 21-year-old bedroom pop crooner Preston Bearden. The wide-eyed, yellow polo-wearing Chattanooga native has been making a name for himself in the underground indie scene since early 2023 today, the multi-artist is sharing his first music of 2024, with the track. “Sweet Nothings.”

The song, follows “But A Dream,” from his debut album Woozy, “Sweet Nothings” has the lo-fi production and dreamy aesthetic that can only be described as bedroom pop, and that’s a good thing in this case. Paired with sappy lyrics and the heart plastered on the single artwork, it is clear that indie newcomer Otlo doesn’t hide his soft side. This anthem of young love could soften even the hardest of hearts. We all know the feeling of being mindlessly in love, and that is exactly the vibe that this song exudes.
