Osheaga Day 2 in Photos

Day 2 of Osheaga 2025 went off without a hitch until the weather stepped in right before Gracie Abrams was about to play her hit “Close to You”. What had been a perfect day of sun and few clouds turned into a thunderstorm with risk of lightning. Abrams and her band rushed off the stage and the rain poured down. This was clearly disappointing to the massive crowd, many of whom, in their hair bows and yellow outfits (Abrams’s favourite colour) were there primarily for Gracie. She did apologize for the quick exit on her Instagram stories. Tyler, the Creator was able to take the stage a short half hour later, after the rain had stopped and his pyrotechnic-fueled performance dried everyone off and made sure everyone left the festival happy. Northern Transmissions was there all day, running from stage to stage, capturing the action. Here are some of the highlights.

Durand Bernarr’s enthusiastic performance, complete with death drop, was one of the more memorable performances of the day. He served, even though the crowd was small!

Frontman Samuel T. Herring frenetic movements fueled Future Islands’ energetic set.

The first lady of OVO (she is the first woman to be signed to Drake’s label) put on a sultry show that matched the heat of the afternoon.

TV on the Radio has returned to the stage in 2025, and Osheaga was lucky to witness their cool confidence and just the right amount of chaos.

After the rain, Tyler, the Creator had the Osheaga audience in the palm of his hand – even when he asked the crowd to boo “the rich folks in the VIP section”.
