Ora Cogan premieres track “Ground and Grave”

Ora Cogan premieres track "Ground and Grave", the track comes off her forthcoming release 'Shadowland'

Ora Cogan’s music is soothing, for our long winter days. Her music grabs our full attention in a tender way. Cogan’s versatile voice opens up a mystical reality; hallowed, forlorn and full of promise. She has let her curiosity lead her into many genres over the years, combining the intricate guitar picking of Americana with grunge and psychedelic dreamscapes. She has been compared to 70’s folk legend Karen Dalton and Angel Olsen, while definitively holding her own.

Her new album Shadowland, is expected to drop later this year. The lead-track off Ground and Grave features Ora’s vocals, surrounded by vintage strings, romantic influence, and tasteful drumming.

Quote from Ora:
Most of these songs are about some kind of metamorphosis. Going through loss, finding autonomy and probably reckoning with feeling isolated while living in remote places.
