This Is Loreli – The Singer in My Band (09.11.26) Matador Records

Frontrunner of the new age of guitar-led singer songwriter music, Nate Amos is back with a new installment to his solo project This Is Loreli. Leaning into a more stripped back sound with hints of Americana and folk-rock soundscape. Amos is here to reestablish his sound and delve into new territories with a softer and sweet record conceived on the road. Featuring his own father on a track, it seems like this may be the most personal and intimate listen of This Is Loreli’s catalogue yet.

You’d be hard pressed to find any fan of rock music that either didn’t already know of Queens of the Stone Age or didn’t love their catalogue. In 2026 the band is still going strong with a string of highly rated albums. A band this far into their career is rather impressive, showing that they’re truly one of the most consistent bands in the rock sphere. There’s already two singles out for the LP giving a good look into the alt-rock sound the band are exploring on this record.

Beck – Ride Lonesome (10.18.26) BH Music

Multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter Beck is still releasing music 38 years into his career – and even more impressively, it’s still good. Beck is an artist that should be mentioned whenever a conversation of longevity is brought up. A highly decorated artist who has won many awards for his work, it’s genuinely amazing to see this man working at this level late into his career. In 2026 we’re seeing Back delve back into the singer songwriter and chamber folk sound he’s so well known for, rather than the synthpop sounds of his 2019 record.

Fontaines D.C. – Dopamine Chamber (10.16.26) XL Recordings

Post punk and indie rock darlings Fontaines D.C. are back after the more mainstream sound to their last LP Romance. Seeing the band’s growth into a beacon of indie music from Ireland. A country that has produced some of the most notable new talent of the past ten years. Their catalogue has gotten to a point where it’s hard to deny the impact of the band, having a plethora of albums at this point that show off many sensibilities in rock and punk. Their newest LP aims to be the best from the band, with a cover reminiscent of Romance. Hopefully the record lives up to its predecessors and expands their already consistent catalogue.

2026 clearly has a lot of projects yet to drop that are still incredibly exciting. While the 11 listed here are some of the notable upcoming records we’re excited about; there’s still so many amazing LPs left. With the likes of Fat Dog, Boy Harsher, Ezra Collective, beabadoobee and Greg Freeman all slated to release albums this year. 2026 still looks to be in a healthy condition with plenty of new music on the horizon.
