Night Beds Shares track from forthcoming LP

Night Beds Shares the single "Corner" From his forthcoming release 'Ivywild'

With less than a month away from the release of Ivywild, Night Beds is sharing a new single called “Corner”. It follows banger “Me Liquor & God” and melancholic beauty “Tide Teeth,” both of which established Night Beds’ adventurous and stunning new sound.

Night Beds’ Winston Yellen recalls the spine of the song coming together rather quickly at Nashville’s Club Roar Studios in May 2012. “I was thinking about Victoria Legrand/Stevie Knicks whilst singing. Their delivery is so legendary. I absolutely adore Ben Kaufman’s Les Paul/Mary Ford guitar triplets along with Caleb Hickman’s sultry sax and Steven Holmes baritone electric guitar in unison.”

Ivywild is a truly collaborative effort with a makeshift team of 25 musicians, notably Abe Yellen, younger brother and closest friend. The thread that weaves through all of Yellen’s music and holds it together is his unmistakable voice – plaintive, yearning, soulful, heartbreaking. Yellen’s voice has a unique beauty matched by few of his contemporaries. It is a voice that reveals the qualities of a life spent listening to the greats of jazz and soul and yet sounds so utterly of this moment.

Night Beds will play live in support of Ivywild for the first time on July 31st at a special event in Portland, OR.
