Nick Hakim is back with two new singles, “Endlessly Waiting” and “The Reason.” “Endlessly Waiting” is accompanied by a new music video directed by Terence Nance (Random Acts of Flyness), and shot at Baltimore’s Lalibela community art space. Nick Hakim’s album I Can See drops on July 24, 2026.

Ahead of the album’s release, Nick Hakim will host free early listening events in London on July 14th and in Los Angeles on July 17th, both open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. This fall, he will hit the road headline tour in his hometown of Washington D.C.; he’ll perform songs from his forthcoming album as well as his lauded catalog across North America for shows in New York, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, and two performances in Los Angeles. The European and UK leg will see performances in Dublin, Glasgow, London, Birmingham, Paris, Berlin, and more.

Written over over five years, I Can See came together during an uncertain period in Hakim’s life, marked by the end of a record deal and a long-term relationship. Initially conceived from intimate bedroom demos and later taking full form at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, and in various studios in NYC. The songs were made alongside a cast of longtime collaborators, including Andrew Sarlo (Dijon, Bon Iver), and mastered by Heba Kadry (Björk, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Gorillaz), a nod to the rich community of artists who surround him. A faithful collaborator, he’s contributed to a number of projects such as Miley Cyrus’ Something Beautiful, Show Me The Body’s CORPUS II, Eddie Chacon’s Lay Low, Adrienne Lenker’s Bright Future, and Lil Yachty’s Let’s Start Here, among others.
